
Briefly
Get to the Start location at the Cornish Hill lookout.
Then using the app, select Courses, either select DIY/Daylesford from the list or tap the Search icon, enter Daylesford to select. Download that map. Using the MOBO app, snap the Start QR code and off you go on your course. Don’t forget to also snap the Start QR code to finish.
How to
The mobile map shows all controls. You can either make up your own course or use one of these suggested courses shown at upper right of the map on screen. These courses increase in difficulty as they increase in length. If you are a beginner we suggest you start with the Short course and work your way up.

Short course
A great introduction to orienteering. All controls are alongside tracks. 1.3km via tracks, about 30 minutes walk, 15 run.
Controls to visit: 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, Finish
Moderate course
Learning more orienteering. Mainly along tracks and grass. Some
controls up to 40m off tracks. 2.9km via tracks, about 70 minutes walk,
35 run.
Controls to visit: 32, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42, 36, Finish
Long course
More route choice and more track complexity. Some controls are a little off track. 4.7km, about 90 minutes walk, 45 run. Take time to read the information at
control 39.
Controls to visit: 43, 44, 46, 47, 41, 40, 39, 38, 42, 35, Finish
D.I.Y. course
You make it as long and challenging as you like. Or get someone else to plan a devilish course for you. With this course you may finish at any control.
Finishing your course
When you finish, there is no Finish button to press. You simply select RESULTS or My Mobo then scroll down to your statistics.
While the above suggested courses suggest you finish at the Start, you need not. You can choose to Start and Finish at any control.
